When to vote? Voting usually takes place in April during the
week right after Spring Break.

How To Vote?
Who can vote? All young people in grades 5 - 8 who have
read or heard read at least 3 titles from the current list of
nominees can vote.
At the public library:
Fill in the student ballot and put it in the ballot box.
At school:
Get a ballot from whoever runs the MYRCA program at
your school and return it to that person once it is filled out.
Votes will be tabulated at the school or library and a vote
summary will be then be submitted to the MYRCA committee.
By email:
Individuals, who are not part of a school or library MYRCA
program, may complete a ballot and send it in separately.
