MYRCA Books in a Box
The Manitoba Young Reader’s Choice committee has launched a new initiative to encourage rural schools to participate in the MYRCA program. Thanks to a grant from the Thomas Sill Foundation, a partner school outside of Winnipeg will receive the MYRCA list books for 3 years as long as they launch a MYRCA program in their school for the duration of that time. The cost of the books and the shipping is free. The chosen school will also be invited to participate in the award ceremonies through Skype or Google hangouts.
